Dunia Finance, a leading UAE-based finance company, is launching a new initiative this summer, which aims to equip ambitious young people with the skills and knowledge required to become future business leaders.
Dunia's Young Business Leaders Program takes place over three weeks between June 30 and July 18, and will work with a select group of first and second year university students, as well as Year 11 and 12 high school students, who are eager for early exposure into what it takes to be a leader in the world of business and entrepreneurship.
During the program, students will learn how to establish, grow and lead a company, along with developing other key business skills, such as identifying and capitalising on new opportunities, learning how to allocate resources effectively, working as a professional team, and understanding the importance of corporate social responsibility.
Many of the program's sessions will be run by real life practitioners and subject matter experts, as well as industry role models and successful entrepreneurs who will share their experiences in person.
Commenting, Rajeev Kakar, Managing Director and CEO of Dunia Finance, said:
"We are delighted to be launching the Dunia Young Business Leaders Program. As the UAE looks to increasingly diversify its economy, a key national objective is to focus on talent development programs. Initiatives like the Dunia Young Business Leaders Program will help provide the early platform to expose our youth in their formative years, so that they can prepare and equip themselves to be the business leaders of tomorrow.
"The UAE market, and the global economy, needs a generation of job creators, and not job seekers, who are entrepreneurial and equipped to start new ventures, lead enterprises of the future, and to establish a new momentum for growth that our world so critically needs.
"I therefore encourage all students who are ambitious and keen to get an early insight into the world of business to sign up for this selective and insightful program, being offered on a complimentary basis by Dunia for a group of high potential students."
The application process is now open and interested students can sign up to the program by visiting Dunia's website at: http://www.dunia.ae/youngbusinessleaders or by emailing: email@example.com.
