In 2012, its principal subsidiary, Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad (“Alliance Bank”) won IDC’s Financial Insights Innovation Awards (FIIA) 2012 for Excellence in SME Banking.

In 2011, the Bank won the Sahabat SME Award by the SMI Association for its contribution to the SME market. This is the second consecutive year that the Bank has received the award.

For its creative advertising campaign on one of its products, the Promotion Marketing Awards of Asia “The Dragons of Asia” recognised the Bank with three awards: Best Use in Internet for Promotion Marketing (Silver), Best Product Launch or Relaunch (Merit) and Best Small Budget Campaign (Merit) for the “Mohd Khairuddin – Your Mum is Nagging You” You.nique card campaign. The Bank also won the Silver Award of the Malaysia Effie Awards 2011 for the same campaign.

Alliance Bank was also acknowledged as an “employer of choice” and ranked 81st among Malaysia’s Top 100 Leading Graduate Employers” in a survey conducted by GTI Media and powered by trendence, Europe’s leading research institute.
