Shantanu Mitra

Shantanu Mitra has more than 30 years of experience in financial services, with about 20 years at Standard Chartered and Citibank where he had stints in India, Singapore and Thailand. His most recent roles at Standard Chartered were as Senior Manager, Business Risk Review for all consumer businesses, and prior to that Senior Regional Risk Officer, India, Middle East & Africa, based in Mumbai. Shantanu began his career at Arthur Young & Co and later Moore Stephens & Co, both chartered accounting firms located in London.
Shantanu holds a Bachelor's degree in Science (Statistics) from the University of Calcutta, India, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, England & Wales.
